Permanent exhibition: The children’s cinemal / the Cine NIC
Many discoveries in the field of the image arrive in the home as toys. While entertaining the children, these toys allow them to discover the mysteries of the projection and animation of images. Amongst the different types of toys, stands out the Cine NIC, invented in Barcelona in 1931 by two brothers, Josep M. i Tomàs Nicolau Griñó. The Cine NIC was the first childrens animated image projector.
